The movement which began a vear ago for the student building for the use of the Y. M. C. A. and other student oiganizaiions has ben resumed and it is expected to buil'1 tbe j-trucuire this summer. The canvass for funds and work on the building were temporarily discon tinued a;outtwo months ago, owing to the illness ot Mr. Shepard. the secretary. The building commit tee, of which Prof. Lake is chair man, have taken the matter up again and have secured the co-operation of the stale committee . of the Y. M. C. A. in theraisingof funds. At the first meeting of the stud ents held a lit tie over a year ago nearly $5,000 was pledged, the av erage being $24 for each student many ot whom are working their way through college. . With such a spirit of heroic self sacrifice and determination as this on the part of the students, the directors of the Association have ielt ' justified in asking the people of 4Corvallis and other parts of the state to aid in the erection of the building. The sum of $4,800 has been subscribed by people outside of Corvallis, $700 by Alumni, $1,000 by members of the faculty, and $1,300 by residents of Corvallis. It is necessary to raise $2 300 more so that the build ing may be erected without debt. The recent San Francisco disaster makes it difficult to secure contri butions from Portland, Salem and other cities so the building com-. mittee have felt that they must look to the residents of Corvallis and Benton county for a large part of the remainder. While those who have already subscribed have been very liberal there is a large number the committee says, who have as yet given nothing. The project has drawn the atten tion of the people of the state to the college and the community, and they expect the building to be built. Those having the matter in charge are therefore bending every effort to insure its completion this summer. Yellow Dent corn, Zierolfs. best of all, at Disparene Spray. For fruit trees and shrubbery. "thing is more important to Corrallis th . the good health of her people. How cai. tbey fill their place in this busy tow u unless they are well? No one trouble is responsible for more nervous ill?, sleeplessness, general debil ity, weakness, . back-aches, rheumatic pains, even ill-temper and peevishness, than indigestion. Fortunately a combination of reme dies, called Mi-o-na stomach tablets, has been discovered that absolutely cures in digestion and restores to health and strength the whole digestive system. The use of Mi-o-na is a safeguard against ma ny ilk ; it acts directly upon the gastric glands, restores perfect action to tbe di gestive organs, aids the assimilation of food, and so strengthens the whole di gestive system that yon can eat anything at any time without fear of indigestion. Ju6t one little tablet out of a 5O cent box of Mi-o-na bf-fore meals for a few days, and you will soon regain perfect health and strength, and be able to eat anything digestible withont fear ofetom- ach dimcultj.es. So reliable is Mi-o-na in curing all forms of stomach weakness and troubles that Graham & Wells give a signed guar antee that the remedy will cost nothing unless it cures. Mi-o-na sells for 50 cents and is invaluable to any one who suffers with indigestion, nervousness or week stomach. " Inoculated Red Cfover AUike Rape, Alfalfa, Speltz White clover and Arti chokes.
