The building is on the farm of Monroe Childers who has charge of Fanion. Corvallis UDder tbe auapices of tbe "Men's Club" of the Congre gational church, is treating itstlf aod its friends to a series of strict ly first class and up-to-dats enter tainments and lectures to be given in tbe Optra House duriDg tbe com ing fall and winter seasons. A partial canvass has been made of the city for five entertainments, as given below, and such a flatter ing reception has been given the movement by our citizens that tbe management felt warranted in add ing a sixth entertainment to tbe course, without extra charge, tbe eix entertainments for the $2 course tickets. S'udent tickets for the entire course, $1. 50; children, half- price. Tickets for the entertain ments taken eeraraiely, 50 to 75 cents. Course tickets insure re served seats. A list of the names of those who have made this course possible will be given in the next issue of this paper. Anyone desirous of obtaining tickets may do so by telephoning Edward F. Green, No, 279 Ind , or by leaving names with Graham & Wortham, druggists. Tbe first entertainment in the course will be given by the Palland Newhall Co., male quartette and bell ringers.
