assault by Mrs. Mary zivney. one
alleged that she went to the home of
Zlvney, from whom abe had been di
vorced, to aee one of her children,
and tbat he and Mrs. Ounther attack
ed her. , The accused were fined $50
each In Justice of the Peace David

Jude Campbell dismissed the case

Ubcral, who waa accused by Charles
Kerns of assault. Before the alleged
aaaault Darnelle ' bad. rented m
farm at ' - Waldo Hllla. . When
Kema made the charge. Justice of tne
Peace Samson wrote to Darnelle. who
Immediately replied that be would ap
pear In the court on the day aet for
the trial. He arrived promptly Tuea
day motnlng, and, after hearing the
evidence, Mr. Samson fined him 110,
which be paid. According to the evi
dence Kerns turned bis boga in a pub
lie road, and Darnelle told biro It waa
