propriating $75,000 for the purchase of
a site and the erection of a federal
building at Oregon City. At nearly
every session of Congress a similar
bill h.a been Introduced, sometimes
having died. In a committee and last
session Bourne's bill passed the Sen
tte but was never acted upon In the
House.
The Oregon City Commercial Club
la planning to back up Senator Cham
berlain and will at once enlist the aid

Hawley and Lafferty. It it believed
that the tpproprlatlon can be secured
