An only-child Is liable to dlnad

children brought up among brothers
and sister. It ta not only .that tbo
child Is In danger of bclug spoiled and
of growing eel fifth through having no
playmate' with whom to share his or
ber toys, sweets and so on. but there
Is the Isck of .young, healthy compan

means much to the child's develop
ment If be or she. lives only with grown
up people much of tbe sweetness of
child life will be lost, fori no matter
how gsy and bright parents may be.
children require tbe companionship of
children of their own age, with their
own childlike ideas of fun and frolic
who wUI bring the right touch of
youth and Inexperience to nursery
gambols.
It Is a mlatske to educste an only
child at home. Send him or ber rath
er to a kindergarten at an early age
and afterward to a good day school.
It la not absolutely necessary for a
girl to go to a boarding school- She
can finish her educstlon after having
passed through . an advanced day
school by attending first class lectures
dally.
What's In a NamsT

to live down to, as tbe esse rosy be?
The old qnery. "What's In a name 7"
