felt regret we heard .of the death of
Mrs. Thciese Klaa, whivh took place
on Sunday, May 2. Mrs. Klas was one
of our earliest pioneers, having come
to this country from Germany over
forty years ago, when it, our vlenlty
little bn( wilderness was to bo seen.

Mrs. Klas' funcr.il took place at the
home of her son, Ernest Klas, who,

on Tuesday. May 4. The burial was at
New Era. Mrs. F. Gibson Is one of
the daughters of Mrs. Klas.
