Reports today from various mill centers indi cate that between 600,00u and 700,000 men and women workers in the tex tile industry of the United States on Monday will announce that beginning on that date they will work only 4k hours a week, In response to orders sent out by headquarters of the Unit ed Textile Workers of America in New York. At present their hours range from 54 to 60 a week. Many thousands of workors engaged In trades adjacent to the textile would also bo thrown out of work by the walkout.
