Our community is noted for all kinds
ot curiosity, notions and actions, but

writing, Is that two local contractors
were remodeling the interior of th
community church, employing a ninn
by tho name of James Burt to do the
electrical wiring. During the after
noon of his labor the three mechanics
were conversing on the subject of
"suakes" at which they all expressed
tholr fear of tho poor innocent roptlle,
and while the electrician was doing
wiring under the rostrum'and had his
head down looking under tho same, a
big black cut brushed its tail under
his chin. The snake story still fresh

out and is still running at last reports.
