E. Hleythlng. The suit waa dismissed
after a number of witnesses had been
examined.
Mr. and Mrs. Hleythlng; lived togeth
er in Portland until early this year
when he moved to Milwaukle. He
charged cruelty in his complaint and
declared on the stand that he could
not stand her constant nagging. The
couple has a two year old child.

Mrs. I. N. Hewitt, of Gladstone, died
suddenly of heart failure at 7:45
o'clock Monday night She complained
of a pain in ber breast a minute before
ahe fell back In ber chair dead.
She was born In New York 59 years
ago and has lived In this state for 10
years. The body waa taken to the
Myers t Brady undertaking parlors
where it la being held until funeral
arrangements are completed. Her
widower and the following children
survive: H. E. Hewitt of Spokane,
Charles Hewitt . of Holbrook, Nebr.,
Mrs. Maude Aman of Oregon City, Mrs.
T.-W. Craig, of Oregon City, and Miss
Flo Hewitt of Gladstone.

of Company G, Oregon City's own sol
dier boys, will be constantly in touch
with affairs In Oregon City.
Wednesday The Enterprise notified
Captain Hlanchard that a copy of this
paper would be sent dally to each of
the men free. At first all of the papers
will be sent in one bundle to the com
pany In care of the captain.
If company G is sent to the Mexican
border. The Enterprise will follow
them, carrying each day the events
back home. Even though the men
will probably be shifted from one po
sition to another when in active serv
ice, mail will be forwarded to each new
position.
A copy of The Enterprise, filled with
local news, will be like a letter from
home each day, the best cure for homesickness.
