Cutting Timber Into Cordwood
Mr. Hitc and family are moving in
to a tent house on Mr. Schatby's wood
lot for the summer, where they and
others arc engaged in cutting into
cordwood and hnuling to market an
other section of the timber owned by
Mr. Schatby.
Mrs. Ida Delhor was brought home
on Friday last from the Oregon City
hospital, not essentially improved In
health, hut a specialist called in to
see her decided she would be better
at home, where she could have quiet
and be with her family. He advised
not much company for awhile, there
fore, the anxious neighbors call by
telephone to ascertain how she is. Her
faithful sister is still with her.

(Special) The Meadowbrook Liter
ary Club will give a three act comedy,
"Back to the Country Store," on Fri
day night, May 12, at the Meadow
brook school house. The proceeds
will go towards buying a piano for
the school and literary club. Ad
mission will be 25 cents for adults,
15 cents for children. Ice cream and
cake will be served for 10 cents after
the play. The club has spent consid
erable time on the play.
Miss Belle Houghton returned to
Mulino Wednesday after spending a
few days with her sister, Mrs. Frank
Evans.
