Mr. Enstham and Mr. Butler will

The sad news reached town Apiil
Death of Pioneer Resident.
13th that S. M. Ramsby had dropped
dead at his home near this place. His
wife found him soon after 11 o'clock,
whore he had dropped from aioplexy.
Mr. Ramsby was born at Legonler, lu
dluna, August 29, 1S52. While very
young he settled with his parents nt
Molalla, where later he was united in
marriage to Miss Franclne Dickey, the
daughter of pioneers.
Mr. Ramsey was chosen county re
corder by the Republicans, in 1892,
which office he filled for four yearn. I
Since first elected, he made Oregon
City his homo until two years ago,
when tho family returned to the Mo
lalla home. Mr. Ramsby had one son,
Chauncey, who lives at the Molalla
home. He belonged to three ledges,
Oregon City Elks, I. 0. 0. F., nnd Arti
sans. The Elks took charge of the
funeral, which was held at the Port
land crematorium.

Molalla at present. This committee

cows are kept off of the sidewalks and

MARION CATTLE MEN ORGANIZE

organization and election of a board
of directors of the Marion County
Jersey Cattle club were effected at a
meeting of the club In the Commercial
club auditorium. A constitution and
bylaws were adopted. The director
chosen were as follows: Henry Zoin,
Jacob Fox, Charles Cannon, Warren
Gray, Joseph DItter and J. B. Peter
son. At a meeting of the board cf
