(Special) In an exciting game, Bar
ton defeated Clackamas this afternoon
by a 6 to 4 score. Bladen, Cluckamus'
regular slab artist, was hit in the arm
by a pitched ball in the third and
blew up on taking the mound for his
teammates the following Inning. Bur-
don, who replaced him allowed two
runs in the seventh, but held the Bar
ton sluggers dofn to four hits. In the
sixth and seventh grames, Clackamas
managed to send four men across the
plate. The game was fast and al
though tin; slugglst was quite free,
good fielding on both sides featured
the contest. Batteries: Clackamas,
Bladen, Burden and Wilson; Barton,
