Schuebel and driven by Lee Bequeath, of Portland, turned turtle at that point; Three of the five occupants Bequeath and Eula and Clyde Schuebel were under the car, while the two little girls Ruth and Roberta were thrown out to one sldo and got out without assistance. The party was coming along the roadway at a speed of about 13 mllos an hour when Clyde Schuebel becamo sick. At this Mr. Bequoath's atten tion was drawn to her, and he forgot for the moment his car, when the car left the road, ran down the embank ment to the side and upset. Receipts on this market for the week ending Saturday have been 2800 cattle, S calves, 1203 hogs, 4210 sheep and 53 horses and mules. A surprising amount of strength and a higher range of prices were charac teristics of the cattle market. Good steers went to $7, and as compared with the week before the market was about 25c higher. The hog market ranged from $0 to $7.25 with tops selling at 17.60. The sheep market was not liberally supplied and the demand was active, prices ranging steady to strong at the previous week'a average. There was some Inquiry for horses and a few sales were made. The horse market Is taking on more activity and with a broaded supply from which to make choice, buyers can fill their wants.
