Creek and when that had been accom

toward Molulln, or a total distance of
ten mile.
Mr. Dlmlck volunteered the further
Information that It waa going to be
poaalble to complete the road and put
on the equipment and operate It If
the people of Oregon City and Clacka
maa county remained true to the beat
Intereata of the road and the com
munity. That there was sufficient
capital lo do It If all would pull to
gether, and he waa living In hope
that there would be a pull that would
aaaure the completion of the road and
tta due operation for the benefit of
the people of Oregon City and Clacka
maa county.

complete the prosent grading up to tho
Blgham property, where the dispute

Injured by the proposed railway, and
has decided not to press his claim.

rather than hinder the new venture

and are putting up their money to
foster the enterprise, will appreciate
the fuct that he Is converted while
there Is yet time to do the road a good

when they hrd firing" on Cluar Creek
It was at a point a Unit a mile above
the mill and they were talking to a
mini through whose farm the stream
passed when the firing was done. The
men stopped listen and It was the
unanimous opinion of tba party that
men were dynamiting the stream to
get the fish. The farmer went at once
to learn the Identity of the miscreants,
and put a stop to the work.
It I certainly the duty of every
farmer who know of such disregard
of the law lo Inform against guilty
men, a this Is a misdemeanor having
widely devastating Influence.

of the serious Illness of his grand

s. Norton went over until Wednesday.
