Cobb has moved Into the Wil liam Kendall cottage, and Mr. and Mrs. Stoors and Evangelist Johnson and wife have taken the house vacated by the Cobb family. The meetings that are being held In the tabernacle are well attended and It is probable that this will be the last week of the meetings. Already there have been 50 who have united with the churches of this city. On Sunday the building was filled to its capacity. Next Sunday there will prob ably be as large an attendance. The music is furnished by a choir of 50 voices and this has been among the attractions. The evangelist and his assistant have worked diligently since ccixlng here. On Wednesday evening Rev. Johnson had for his subject, "Popular Amusements,' which In cluded dancing, card playing and theatre-going. Cobb & Dillingham, who have been in charge of the Big Six Department Store for the past year, have disposed of their business to a merchant of Gervais, who has already taken pos session. Mr. Cobb will probably move to Portland in the hear future, where he has other business, but Mr. Dil lingham will remain here for the pres ent. Miss Verna Porter, the well known and highly esteemed clerk, who has been in the employ of Cobb & Dilliugham, will remain In her pres ent quarters. Merchants Protective Association. Messrs. Chas. M.
