Rown and daughter, of Port land, were out visiting with the for mer's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman at Elwood, last week. Miss-Freeda and Mr. Melvin Hult, who were home to spend the holidays, left aeain for Idaho, where they are attending school. Will Dix. of Shuble. was visiting with his mother at Colton last Sun day. Robert Putz is still on the trap line but didn't catch any remarkable game the last while except rabbits, squirrels and meat birds. Till last Thursday he had the luck of catching a wild cat. Jay Dix, of Shuble, was a caller at Colton Monday. By the war, we hear the wedding bells will ring at Colton in the near future. O. Dix sold his cow to Mr. Erickson for $4rt. Mrs. H. Rown spent last Wednes day with Grandma Dix. Mat. Handle, of Highland, left for his ranch in the foot hills Monday. 0. Sorenson. of Silverton, Is a vis itor at J. Putz's this week.
