Widow Settles Controversy.
Tho case of L. D. Shank vs. Frank
Hnwn, standing In Justice Samson's
court for several months, was Settled
between the pnrtles Friday and taken
out of court, living near Wllholt
Springs. It was a contention over
the sale of land by Shnnk, who was
agent for Hawn. Claim was made by
Hawn that Shank was not the party
to the sale but that he himself effect
ed It Hawn died several months ago
and his widow made settlement with
Shank and disposed of the case.
