Eby. when many Im portant business matters came up for discussion, pertaining to the coming fair which is to be held at Canby on the fair grounds September 29. 30, Oct. ober 1. President J. V. Smith will commence the work of construction Monday morning with a large crew of men. These men will be kept at work on the grounds until the opening of the fair. Among the buildings that are to be erected will lie one for the poultry. The building where the 3.)0 chickens were on exhibit last year will be used for horses and other live. stock. The two large buildings which were built last year for the accom odation of the livestock show will be filled to their capacity from present Indications, as every day brings new entries. Some of the finest blooded cattle in the state will be on exhibit this year. A speaking platform will he bult as well as benches that will have a seating capacity of several thousand people.
