Judge Gordon E. Hayes and party took an auto ride out to. the old place Sunday. the week Mrs. Howard has been spendjng some time with relatives in our vil lage. Miss Ballard, of Ocean Park, Cal , has been visiting Professor Graham's family at their beautiful home on the river. Robert 'Graham spent Sunday and Monday at home with his children. Alfred Wall and some of his friend from Portland were out visiting at Colton last wek. Messrs. Phillips and C.orbett. who have been away at Eastern Oregon, have returned. Mr. and Mrs. John Arouett were visiting with the latter parents, Mr. and Mrs. Baker, at Elwood last Sun day. Miss Nellie Bonney. who has been away working. Is home again. The members are waking up and say they must have the city priv ileges. The automobile law must be en forced, to go only eight miles an hour. Automobiles go like the wind through this part of town.
