is going to give an entertainment and
supper In our village on the evening
of the 21st of May. The proceeds are
to be for the very excellent purpose
of building a church at Wilsonvllle,
so we ought to join hands with these
good people in their undertaking.
The M. B. A. lodge initiated four
new members into the mysteries of
Its order on last Saturday evening.
This thriving lodge has nearly
doubled Its membership during the

The Corral Creek school' is going
to have a public picnic on Saturday,
May 14, and Wilsonvllle, Hood View,
Weston and all surrounding districts
are invited to fill up their hampers
and attend this picnic. Dinner will
be served at 12 o'clock, and a pro
gramme gotten up by the pupils of
the school will furnish entertainment
at 2 o'clock In the school house.
The Misses Edna and Elsie Seely,
Elma Summer and Mr. Henry Aden
went as delegates to the Christian
Endeavor Convention at Gresham on
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and re
port a very enjoyable time. About
120 delegates were In attendance, and
the people of Gresham are being loud
ly praised by these young folks for

played a game with the Sweet Briars,
