Armory on Saturday night by Milton

was a large attendance, and the music
furnished by Farmer's orchestra was
excellent.
The Women' Club met at the Com
mercial Club rooms Thursday. A de
bate waa given, which was, "Resolv
ed, that woman is governed by sensi
bilities more than by sense." The
judges were Miss Mollle Barlow, Mra.
H. Emmons and Mrs. W. - A. Shew
man, who decided unanimously In
favor of the negative. Mrs,. George
C. Brownell was the Brat who spoke
on the affirmative, and was followed
by Mrs. Downey, of the negative.
Mrs. M. M. Charman, affirmative, and
Mrs. T. E. Beard, negative, were the
others who talked on this subject
The next meeting of the club will be
held May 11, when the election of of
ficers take place.
