keting Produce," and many good
points were brought forth, also a
splendid literary programme was en
joyed. A grand time was had and

Theodore Schacht Suffers Lota
Right Leg Under Falling Tree
Theodore Schacht. of
Sycamore,
was seriously injured Tuesday while
working in the woods for the Brown
Milling Company. He was caught un
der a falling tree and his right leg
badly crushed. Dr. E. A. Sommer was
called and took Sachacht to the Good
Samaritan hospital at Portland, where
it was necessary to amputate his leg
above the knee.

Samaritan hospital.
Miss Mary Tong has been visiting
relatives and friends a few davs.
Strawberry picking is nearly over.
and blackberries are ripening. Some
