Major and Mrs. Clarkson attended the Palmer-Zels nuptials in Portland on Saturday at the Trinity Church. The wedding took place at high noon, noon. Mrs. C. P. Morse enjoyed a short vihit troni her sisters. Misses Eileen and Flora Dill, of Portland. Canoeing, sailing, boating and launching are indulged In these de lightful evenings ou the Willamette and the residents are entertained by the merry singing of the quartette among the jolly campers. The Misses Nellie Preeble. Norma Sparks, of Portland, and Mr. and Miss Hallen, of Courtney, formed a party on board the .eloop Winward on Sat urday afternoon, with Lloyd Spooner and Wilson Miller as mates and the crew enjoyed a pleasant sail Into Port land. On returning the following day with Messers Spooner and Sliller! were a jolly party. Among them were the Misses Rosa Sacht and Harnett . Eagle Creek had a most Interesting ball game last Sunday with the Ful ton boys. The score was 6 to 14 in Eagle Creek's favor. There was a large crowd of sports come out to witness the game aud use their lung power. Next Sunday the Eagle Creek boys will go to CamaB, Wash., to play a game with the Camas boys. Quite a number of young people of this burg attended the basket social and school entertainment last Satur day evening. All report having a lovely time. But on the way home a certain young man got his arm out of place and had quite a time to get It back.
