Stopping out from tho rear door of her residence just as the charge went off, Mrs. Ott was struck in tho back by a section of tho stump weigh ing about 50 pounds, and was almo.u instantly killed. Mrs. Ott was mortally wounded ami died before a physician could reach the scene of the accident w rem this city. The coroner was notified but did not consider that the circumstances surrounding the accident, required an official Investigation.
