We are the Sole Agents for the Only Thing Known That Cures the Kidney Diseases that Cause Dropsy, viz: Fulton's Compound. Notice for application for liquor County of Clackamas at the County license. The undersigned " will pre-: Court House in Oregon City on the sent the following petition to the 5th day of November, 1906, at the County Court of Clackamas County, hour of 9:30 o'clock a. m. of said day, Oregon, on Monday, November 5, 1906, to show cause, if any exist, why the It Is now well known that dropsy is not In Itself a disease but is commonly a symptom of Bright's Disease or Diabetes. Hence, up to the discovery of the Fulton Compounds, dropsy was incurable. It is now, however, curable In nearly nine tenths of all cases. Here is an Interesting; recovery, to which we refer by permission. Mrs. Peter Goyheneix of 928 Fillmore street. San Francisco, became alarmingly dropsical. Her physician had finally to tap her every few days. She was tapped nearty forty times and grew worse from day to day. The physician finally told her husband that she had Bright's Disease of the Kidneys, that it was in an ad vanced chronic state and beyond medical aid. Her heart also gave her the usual trouble and she was in such a serious condition the relatives were sent for. They put her on .Fulton's Com pound. It stayed on her stomach, the first tmng mat dbq aone so lor a weea, tqs secona week the droosv declined a little and the Im provement was then gradual until her recovery was complete. This case was examined into by representatives of the San Francisco Star and the Overland Monthlv. and the genuineness of the case and the recovery were fully attested Mrs. Thomas unnstol or 420 Twenty-seventh street, San Francisco, was also swollen with dropsy, as a result ot enromo srignt s Disease, to more than seventy-five pounds beyond her normal we4ght, and had to be moved in sheets and was close to death s door although she had tour physicians. She was put on the Fulton Compounds. Three weeks showed improvement and in six months she was well, and permits this reference. There is only one thing known that will cure the chronic kidney disease that is behind dropsy and that Is Fulton's Compound: The Renal Compound for Brieht's and Kidney diseases, (1; for Diabetes, $1.50. The date of the first publication of High school students of Oregon City are going to evince a spirit of enter prise by publishing a high school pa per in - the near future. The paper will probably be a monthly edition, and the first number will be issued In about ten days. Material is now be ing gathered for the first issue. . No regular board of editors has been se lected up to the present time, but the brunt of the work is being shouldered by William Jackson, Allie Grout and Oudin Robertson. Mr. Jackson is the editor, Mr. Grout the business- man ager and Mr, Robertson filles the of fice of advertising manager. The purpose of the new publication will be two-fold. In the first place it will be a means of interesting the pupils more thoroughly -in literary work of a practical nature. In the second place the paper will be the medium of conveying to the public the idea of what the high school is doing and what might be done if need ed improvements and innovations were made, for as Ht is the local high school is handicapped by virtue of the fact that only the first two years of . high - school are " offered. This causes many pupils to attend the Portland schools where a full four year course is being given. The en rollment and the. equipment at the present time is adequate enough, con sidering that only two high school grades attend, but competition with other high schools, is almost ' impos sible since other schools have such a large field to draw from in compar ison. With the addition of two more years of high school work this Ine quality would be eliminated, and re lations, both in an athletic and schol astic, way, .could be taken up with other Institutions. Another project is now under way to organise literary and debating so cieties, two in number, one for the boys and one for the girls. They will meet every Friday afternoon. This is not an absolutely -new idea, but the old societies died out a few years ago and nothing has been done along that line of work since that time. The enrollment at the present time is 54. The first month of school, which closes Friday, shows an en rollment slightly in excess of that re ported last year.
