Sealed proposals for furnishing and
performing all labor and all material
excepting lumber, for the building and
constructing of a new flight of steps
from the present new steps from
Third and Fourth Streets, Oregon City,
to the top of the bluff on McLoughlln
Promenade, In accordance with the
plans and specifications therefor now
on file with the Recorder of Oregon
City, will be received by the Com
mittee on Streets and Public Property
of the Council of .Oregon City, until
Tuesday, the 14th day of August,
1906, at 4 o'clock p. m. of said day.
Plans and specifications containing
further Information will be furnished
upon application to the Recorder of
Oregon City. ,
Each proposal must be accompanied
by a certified check for a Bum equal
to five per cent of the total estimate
of the work, which sum will be subject
to forfeiture In case of the failure of
the successful bidder to furnish bonds
and enter into a written contract for
said work, if called upon so to do,
within ten days from the date of the
acceptance of said bid by the Council
of Oregon City.
The right to reject any and all bids
and to accept any bid considered most
favorable to Oregon City is hereby
reserved.

will take a judgment against you In
the sum of Two Hundred and Eighty
Dollars ($280) in United States Gold
Coin, with interest at the rate of six
per cent per annum from the 26th day
of September, 1895, and for its costs
and disbursements herein. And for
a decree foreclosing that certain
mortgage executed by the defendant,
Alf M. Eklund in favor of the Plain
tiff on the 26th day of September,
1895, upon Block 122 in the duly re
corded plat of Gladstone, In said coun
ty and State, and which is found re
corded in Book "42" on page 157, of
the Records of Mortgages for said
county and state, and ordering that
the said land be sold in a manner as
prescribed by law to satisfy said
judgment.
And further decreeing that neither
of said Defendants have any right,
title or interest in and to said lands,
and that each of said Defendants he
forever barred and foreclosed of all
right, title and equity therein and
thereto.
