Oregon City does ordain as follows: That the Committee on Streets and Public Property of the Council of NO MAN 15 STRONGER THAN MLS STOMACH. Let the greatest athlete have dysitepsl and Ills muneles would soon fail. Physi cal strength is derived from food If a nut n hasiiiMiflicient Tood lie loses strength. It he has no food he dies. Food Is con verted into nutrition through (he stom ach and tMittels. It depends on the strength of the stomach to what extent food eaten Is digested and assimilated. I'eople can die of starvation who have ahundam food to eat, when the stomach and its nssiviate organs of digestion and nutrition do not perform their duty. Thus the sinnach Is really the vital or gan of the body. If ihostotnach Is "weak" the IhxIv will lie weak also, because It Is Ukmi the stomach the body relies for Its strength. And as the body', considered as a whole, is made up of its several mem tiers and organs, so the weakness of the body as a cons.Hineuce of "weak" stom ach will l distributed among the or pins which couiMo the Ixnly. If the Ixxly Is weak because it Is ill-nourished that physical weakness will he found in all the org .in: heart, liver, kidneys, etc. The liver will he torpid and inactive, giving rise to bilioiisuevs, h.st f appetite, weak nerve., fceblu or irregular action of heart, palpitation., dizziness, headache, backache and kindred disturbances and weaknesses.
