It was the sentiment of the meting to es tablish a metalic circuit from Molalla to Oregon City. . A committee was appoint ed to be composed of one director from each association to devise some means of erecting the same. Fred and Agnes Woodslde were seen Jn our burg last Sunday. Pleasant was given her appropriate name by the late William Livingston Holmes in 1MI and Includes "Rose Farm." a part of the Holmes donation claim, now owned by Mrs. Dan O'Nell and her sister. Miss Mary L. Holmes, and is one of the first homes In the state. The Hedges farm, originally the Archibald McKInlay claim, now owned by W. M. Ladd. of Portland. "Locust Farm," the original M. M. Mc Carver claim, now owned by Mrs. Eliza beth Warner and children. The S. S. White claim, now principally owned by W. B. Patton, the original Howell claim, now owned principally by A. Howland. The Samuel ance claim, now the prop erty of L. H. Andrews. Mt. Pleasant has always been noted for her hospit able homes some of which are now occu pied by old pioneer families. Mrs. M. H. Hensley, wife of the late Major Hensley. of California, has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Dan O'Nell and Miss Holmes at "Rose Farm"the past three weeks. Mrs. M. H. Thornton returned to Port land last week after a pleasant stay at "Rose Farm." Mr. Lewis J. Fuller, of San Francisco, spent Sunday with his cousins. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Warner at "The Lilacs."
