I think your stand de cidedly faulty. Let me Illustrate by using Garfield and Eagle Creek precincts. Garfield has always stood for Prohibition of the saloon. But In Estacada there are two saloons, one about two rods, the other ten rods from the Garfield pre- last Friday evening by twenty-nix of their friends coming in upon them unceremoniously, to remind them that it was a good night for a party. The evening was pleasantly spent In playing flinch, until eleven o'clock, when refreshments were served. All declared Mrs. Johnson an excellent hostess and went home rejoicing over the good time they had enjoyed.
