Samuel C. Huffman died at twenty
minutes of midnight. October 17. No
vember 4th of laat year be was stricken
with paralysis and never fully recovered.
The third stroke came laat night at I
o'clock, death resulting in a few hours.
Mr. Huffman was born In Crulg county,
Virginia. December Sth, lS5ii. being In
the 47th year of his age. He waa a man
of exemplary' character, honored and re
spected by all who knew him. He leaves
j a widow and four children, one son and

Huffman, Mrs. Pearl Noble. Luella and
Jra Huffman, all of Garfield. He was
