At a largely attended and enthusiastic gathering of the farmers and producer, of Clackamas county held at the court house In this city last Thursday after noon. It was decided to make an exhibit of the resources of the county at tho I-rwlH 4 Clark Fair at Portland In 1905. The convention was held In conjunc tion with the meeting of the county court. Judge P.yan presiding as chairman. At the forenoon session a committee wa apisdnted to draft resolutions as to the practicability of making an exhibit and the plan of aetion. The following mem bers were named on the committee: J. Ely. of Eagle Creek; George Randall, New Era; Henry Cans. Oswego; Mna. Genavlbach. Clackamas and Harvey E. Cross. Oregon City. At the afternoon session, the committee reported the fol lowing resolutions which were unani mously adopted: "We. your committee, heretofore ap pointed to recommend and report a tys tematlc plan for an exhibit of the re fources of Clackamas county Oregon, at the Lewis & Clark Exposition In Port land In 1905. beg leave to submit the fol lowing: "First To recommend that the county court apiolnt at thia time a permanent committee of one from each precinct In the county to have charge of the collec tion and the making of the exhibit.
