National Grangers Will Be Entertained In
November.
A committe of the Oregon State Grange
has Issued a circular letter to the sub
ordinate granges of. this state, and also
Washington, requesting the gathering of
a complete collection of the resources of
the Northwest, to be exhibited at the
meeting of the National Grange, which
will be convened at Portland In Novem
ber. The letter that has been Issued fol
lows: "The Natonul Grange will meet in Port
land. Oregon. In November, 1904, and It is
desired that we show to our visitors a
complete exhibit of the resources of the
Northwest in the shape of grasses, grains,
fruits, vegetables, minerals, forestry and
fisheries.
"In order to make this matter a suc
cess. It will be necessary for every mem
ber to do his or her utmost.

In charge of the Milwaukle schools, has
