Two storage tanks, havinif a combined capacity of 4(XK) barrels, have been constructed, and the oil will be confined in these recepta cles pending Its use as fuel at the mills. The Crown Paper Mills will soon have its tanks completed and will also sub stitute oil for wood aa fuel. I Convention or Educators. Aa a freight train passed her she stepped out of Hie path and was struck by a stick of wood which fell from the engine or tender. She brought emt for $1Ti,000 damages and received a verdict for f i:S25. Delendant appealed. The supreme court holds, as did the lower court, that the Southern Pacific Company has no exclu sive right to the use of Ihe county road at the point where Ihe injury occurred, and no error is found in the trial of Ihe rase, wherefore the judgment in the court below ia allirmed.
