This Sunday if the weather permits, the

The work of constructing the smith
end road will commence very soon. This
week Kngineer Hands w ill hold a con
ference with the S. P. authorities and
determine what concessions the com-
nauv will make and see what are their
preferences in regard to building the
road, whether over or under me iraca.
Money for building the much needed
road is ranidlv coming to band and from
this source no seriotn trouble may be
anticioated. The sum of ll'oOO is already
available for the building of the road
from Main street to Hit li street, of this
sum tU)Q will be obtained from the city
treasury, the remaining 1500 is the sum
subscrilied by the citizens of the city.
From this city to the Lawton bill road
the expenses will be met by the county.
After the conference between Hands and
the S. P. people is held, the city council
will probably take the final step toward
conHummating the plana and starting

Good Health
and pure blood are inseparable. If
your blood is bad, your health must suf
fer. Poor blood allows the body to lose
vitality just a9 a poor fire under the
boiler allows the steam to run down.
From poor blood to impure blood is but
a step, and impure blood is mother to a
large percentage of human ills. Dr.
Harter s Iron Tonic is an antidote for
both poor and impure blood, for it is
both a builder and purifier a food
and a medicrne. It is the best combi
nation of the kind known to medical
science, and its success for nearly half
a century has led to its endorsement by
thousands of medical men who have
been unable to find a substitute.
Dr. Harter's
Iron Tonic
will Insure you awtnst the many evils resulting;
from Impure blood. Scrofula, pimples, blotches,
kidney disorders, rheumatism, gout, dyspepsia,
female weakness, anaemia, chlorosis, etc., are a.
few of them: but the greatest evil, the greatest
danger, is tbe general weakening of the wbola
system, which affords an opening for everr
passing disease.
The following Is only one of the thousands ot
testimonials we have received :
Detroit, Mich.. Jan. 10. 1901.
"1 commenced using Dr. Harter'a Iron Tonia
when prostrate from a severe attack of rheuma
tism. After using three bottles all traces of
this disease were completely eradicated from my
system, and my general health was restored.
As a blood purifier Dr. Harter'a Iron Tonto
has no equal, and I most alnoerely recommend
It to ail persons suffering from indigestion,
fatigue, rheumatism, and the many weakened
conditions of the ayalem produced by impover
ished blood." Uargarite F. Yeatell,
