The auditorium wasirrowded with people from Portland aurT Oregon City, and the object of their coming was principally to hear Misa Case. Her work, as usual, equalled all expectations and was highly enjoyable. Cbaa. Itltihm. the popular young singer of this city, sang solo and then sang a duet with Miss Case. Mr. Illuhm, while but be irinner, shows promising signs of fine work in the future, if he continues to practice as he has commenced. Mrs. Smith, of Portland, slso sang and her rendition commanded universal admira tion. MissCase will go to New ork City and will probably remain about two years. She hopes then to travel abroad and complete her musical training, bhe has lived in Oregon City ever since her earliest childhood, and has many friends here who will w.tch with pleasure and with no little pride her every success tn musical attainments.
