On the !)th of this month Thomas B.
Jones, uf Highland, this county, passed
away after an illness of about three
weeks at the age of of nearly seventy-six.
The next day in spite of the terrible
storm that was raging at the time, a
large procession followed tbe remains to
life of the city, that their friends are very
reluctant about bidding them adieu.
Many hopes and kind memories attend
them on their departure to their new
home by the sad sea waves and they are
lo know that at any time they decide to
return to this little city, they will find
many friends ready to welcome them
back.

Doctor Pierce's Favorite Prescription
stands alone, as the one and only remedy
for leucorrhea, female weakness, pro

common ailments of women, as to war
rant its makers in offering to pay, as
they hereby do, the sum of $500 reward
for a case of the above maladies which
they can not cure. This is a remarkable
offer. No other medicine for the cure

by such a remarkable guarantee. No
other medicine for woman's ills is pos

in publishing such an offer; no other rem

a remarkable offer.
