There will be installation Monday
evening at 7 :30 will take place a very"
important service in the history of the

event to which reference is made, is trie

adultery between the defendant am)
Silas Hedges, a resident farmer of Sal
mon. The story which .Mr. Il.tlltild
about this linui I ledges was a Bensa'ionnl
and rather duhious one. He said that
one night not very Ion ago he came
home from a vi.it into town and ens
piciouing that thiims Hire not as they
ought to he. looked into the win. low of
the defendant'" bedroom and eaw her in
bed "with the aoove mentioned Sil.is
Hedges. On being cro questioned the
plaintiff was unable to twear that the
defendant wa occupying the same bvd
with Silas Hedges.
Anoihtr interesting and uncommon
feature of the pUint'lTa siorv thai
lie had heard defendant talking thrviuh
a medium ill which she acknowledged
her guilt and eonfet-s-d having indulged
in questionable intimacy with tine man
Hedges. '
JVfendant, when pUced on Ihe stand,
contradicted every etaiemenl niaile liy
the plaintiff. Silaa Hedges emphatically
denied any cohabitation with defendant
and pioved bis innocence. Tuealay
morning Judge McBmle having taken
the matter under adviseu ent. decided
the controverty against Hall, on the
grounds that all bis statements were un
corobated. This of course was a great
victory for Mrs. Hall and Silas Hedges,
and their many friends in the county are
pleased at the outcome.
