The committee have a number of other con
tests under consideration the time for which will
be announced from the committee's stand.
PARADE.
The parade will be formed promptly at 9 o'clock A. M., with tie
right resting on Main street at intersection of Fifth street.
All societies and parties taking part will report to J. J. Cooke,
grand marshal, who will make the proper assignments of position.
The line of march will he on Main street to Second; counter march
to Tenth street; up Tenth street to Hill Road; on Hill Road to Seventh
Btreet; up Seventh street to J. Adams; on J. Adams street to Fifth;
down Fifth street to Center; up Center street to Fourth; down Fourth
street to grounds.
Positions will be asxigned as follows:

Company A. Oregon National Guard
Liberty Car, with Goddess of Liberty and representatives of States
Grand Army of the Republic
Union Veteran Union
Fountain Hose Company No. I
Cataract Hose Company No. 2

Columbia Hook and Ladder Company No. 1
Park place Hand

Floats of Business Houses
Societies and Associations in order of reporting to Grand Marshal, with
their floats, banners, etc.
