Well, we have eeen Niagara Fall and

Slater's Point, on the Canadian aid
above the Upper Rapids. We were then
transferred to the trolley, which akirta
the Canadian side to Q ieenstown, where
we rroi-sed the river and took the trolley
again which rone op tbe gore, near the
water'a edge U Niagara Falls. We
stopped at Dufferin's Island and also
saw Gen. Brock's monument on Queens
ton Heights before crossing over to the
American side. Ttie ride to Qneenstoo
by trolley is made on the high blutls
overlooking the rapids, but on the
American side tbe trolley runs all tbe
way up tbe gorge near the water's edge.
It is a beautiful trip but the rapids are
no more imposing than thoe of the
Colombia. At Niagara Falls proper,
we took tbe incline railway and went
lo the foot of the bluff here we boarded
the little steamer "Maid of the MUt"
which took us right up to the toot ol both
tails, the mist falling on ns like rain.
We had been provided with oiled suits
in the cabin before we went on deck.
Our little boat rocked in tbe billons like
a cradle. Oa reaching the surface agaiu
we took a reset vstion carriage and were
driven through the park, across to, aud
all around Uoat Island to the Three
Sisters Island, where we got oat and
went all over them. The carriage took
n a hark whre are started irom and we
took the first car lor Buffalo, reaching
here about six o'clock. It is about 20
miles by trolley. We could get off any
where we wished along the w.iy, look
around as long as we liked and take the
car agnio without further charge. Lew
iston is on the American side opposite
Queenston.
We shall go to the Exposition again
tomorrow, principally ti see if we have
letters Irom home. We hope to leuve
here Saturday morning, reaching
Chicago Sunday morning and Weetfield
Monday.
We are tired ot sight seeing and will
be glad to travel westward again.
