Peter Crouae, an old resident of thU city, died of stomach complaint, at bis home on Fifth itreet Tueeday morning at 10 o'clock. Ilia age waa47 years. 7 months and 20 days. Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon st 1 :30 p. m. at the German Lutheran church, Rev. Meyers conducting the ceremonies. The interment was in the Oregon City cemetery, and the burial services were conducted by the Knights ot Maccabees, of which deceased was a member. Mr. Crouse left a wife and two child ren. Mr. Atkins is just recovering from a severe attack of diptberia and ia still weak, but will deliver farewell sermons next Sunday morning and evening.
