In a recent letter received by H. L.
Kelly from Kev. W. D. Williams, who
about two years ago was pastor of St.
rani's Episcopal church In Oregon City,
he states (hat he has accepted a call lo
the Archdeaconate of tho Arkansas
Diocese. He it now in New York City,
and bad under consideration a call to
the church of the Good Shepherd, of
Portland, at the time be received the
call lo Arkansas. The latter field cflers
a greater fluid for woik and utefulnces
and Mr. Williams immediately accepted
it. His many friends in Oregon Cityj
would have been pleased to have him
accept the Portland call, but realise hisj
opportunities In the Arkansas diocese 1
and rejoice in his good fortune In boing
called to such an important charge.
