The Douglass boys finished threshing Saturday and have put their machine away. The school in District No. 50 and also near Eagle Creek are both running now. At hagie Creek Mr. McArthur it the teacher, and in No. 50 Miss Millie Wil ton is fn charge. Both are very success ful teachers. Mr. C. II. Dauihy and son Charles, of Gladstone, are here on business. They are the gueHtg of J. P. Woodle. There was a large drove of hogs left Eagle Creek laet Haturday for Portland. Hogs seem to be in good demand in the metropolis. I see Mr. L.
