The follow ing dispatch from General Otis has been received : "Manila, March 15. Three thousand insurgents moved down last night to the towns of Pasig and Pateroa, on the shore of Laguna do Rar, fronting Wheaton's troops on tho' Pasig river line. By heavy lighting Wheaton has disloged and driven them back, taking 400 pris oners and inflicting heavy losses in killed and wounded. He reports bis losses only moderate.
