Will Beach and Fred Smith left to day for Corvallis where they will attend the State Agricultural college at that place. This is their second year at that in-stiution. Mr, Bellamy is an uncle of Mrs. Howard, Mrs. John Gilmore, ol St. Helens, spent the past week visiting her daugh ter, Mrs. George T. Howard, of Glad stone and Mrs. .Seward Rasmussen of Willamette Falls. Charles Pope was seen wending his way toward the hop yards in the Canhy neighborhood early Sunday morning awheel. Johnson, the well-known barber went up to his old home at Silverton Tuesday morning, where he will remain until Friday visiting friends and in cidentally trying to bag a tew pheasants. The family of Seymour 8. Bass, assistant superintendent of the Clackamaa hatchery, arrived in Oregon City Tuesday from California, their former home, and will hereafter reside at the hatchery. E.
