Stories of Adventure. A serial by CONAN DOYLE, in which
he will use his extraordinary talent for mystery and ingenuity which have,

Ian Macloren, All the fiction that he will write during the coming year,
with the exception of twocontrubutions to another publication which were
engaged from him long ago, will appear in McClure'b Maqazink.
Joel Chandler Harrlw. A series of new animal stories in the same
field as t,he " Brer Rabbit" and the " Little Mr. Tbiuiblefinger" stories.
Rudyard Kipling. Besides " Captains Courageous," Kipling will con
tribute to McClure'b all of the short stories he will write during the coming
year. ;
Octave Thanet is preparing for the Magazine a series of short stories in
which thesamecharacters will appeal , although each will be complete in itself.
