I've, and George Swope read a paH'r entitled, "We Kndeavorers as Misainnary Factors." Miss Belle Jones presented "Systematic Giving." Then followed a symposium of definite work presided over by Uev. A. J. Montgom ery, and it was shown that there was 310 Christian F'udeavor members in the county, an increase of three during the past year. Four hundred and lifty-one are reported enrolled as junior workers. During the symposium "The President's Place in the Society" was presented by H, C. Wood; Richard Hargreaves, "The Duties of a Chairman toward his Com mittee;" D. D, Tompkins, "The Corres ponding Secretary's Work ;" Mrs Mont gomery, "The Business Meeting." After the syuiioaium J. C. Gibson discussed the The Daily Conduct of Kndeavorers." After the question box and the usual closing ceremonies the convention ad journed until 7:.T0 in the evening. SATl'HDAY KVtvMNG. This was an unusually interesting ses sion the members of the convention gen erally taking an active part. The fea ture of the evening was an address by Kev. C. II. Curtis, of Portland. Her story waa told in such an inimitable, way, interspersed with laugh able Incidents, and at the same lime illustrated with facts showing the won derful growth of the Kmleavor rnoe merit, which has spread to almost every nation on the face of the globe, that the immense crowd in the church room was held in wrapt attention, Mrs. Brown ell exhibited badges and souvenirs of the great convention, ar.d the Kndcav orrs present were inspired with en thusiasm as she proceeded with her re marks. The new president, W. G. Bcattie makes an excellent presiding ollicer, and there was not a hitch in the services or ceremonies. Tlm Clackamas county banner was presented to the Beaver Creek society in a neat speech by T. J. Gary, for the greatest per cent, of in crease during the past year. This ban ner to be held until the meeting of the stute convention in June, when it will lie presented to the Clackamas county so ciety, making the largest r cent, of in crease in active membership. James Shannon, the Beaver Creek representa tive, took the banner and rt-siamded in an appropriate speech. After this cume the very impressive Y. P, H. Sunday was the last day of the gath ering and the services were very inter- estintr. At seven there was a sunrise prayer service led by Miss Musa, Bark- ley. The subject waB "In the Spirit on the Lord's Day." At 2 :30 in the afternoon occurred the junior rally, presided over by Mrs. Gil man Parker. The members of all the Junior Kmleavor societies in the city were out in full force and filled the front seats. Mrs. Parker lakes a great inter est in the juniors and she has the fac ulty of keeping their undivided atten tion. Interesting addresses were made to the children by Rev A. J. Montgomery, Reverend Waller, Rich ard Hargreaves and J. K Groom. At four p. m. Rev. Montgomery made an interesting talk on "The Need of Systematic Bible Study," followed by an open meeting. At 6:45 p. in. a model Endeavor meeting was beld led by Dr. J. W. Cowan. The topic was "Obedience to God What it Involves." Mrs. F. F. White presided at the organ, and the choir furnished ex cellent music. E. 8. Miller, of Port land, delivered an interesting lectin e on "Influence of Hope in the Service of Christ." The most interesting feature of the evening was Mrs. George C.
