Ehret. Rev. B. F. Myers, who has
charge of the Oregon City work, has been
transferred to California, but will not
give up his charge here until July 1.
It is estimated that over one hundred
thousand pounds of salmon have been
shipped from Oregon City since the
fishing season began, which have leen
sold at a uniform rate of five cents per
pounds. The salmon are not running so
plentifully now, and the fishing season
is principally over, although small
quantities are being shipped away every
day. It is possible there may be another
run of salmon, but the fisherman have
done fairly well this season.

Kev. H. L. Barkley of Woodburn,
was in Oregon City Tuesday, accom
panied by hia sister-in-law, Mrs. Morris,
of Ohio, who is here on a visit. Mrs.
Morri- will return to her Eastern home
about June 1st., and will be accompanied
by Mrs. Barkley, whose health has re
