S. llurmini was arraigned in Judge Font's court charged with the murder of Oliver Achurn on tlie L'tith of February, C. H. lve appearing for the state and (ieo. C. Hrownell for tho defense.. While the evidence was not as conclusive as could Ihi wished where a man it on trial for the murder of a fellow being it was sulllcient in tho eyes of the court to warrant the committing of the prisoner to jail to await the action of the grand jury which meets in April.
