On Thurs day next preoedinij the election a com munication w.is received by the chair man from Prof. Pringle staling that he had other positions offered him to w hich he must make an early reply and asked whether he was to lie retained here. The members of the board were notified that a meeting would lie held on Satur day. They met ill due comsn mid I'm! Pringle's communication whs taken under consideration. The undersigned were in favor of retaining, the other member objected, at this point the undersigned offered to postpone the election for one week or Ioniser if neces sary, the other member of the board declined the proposition stating that "it might just as well tie done one tinin n another," and Prof. Pringle was accord ingly re-elected. Twice in the history of our district and only twice have other districts wanted our principals. Two years ao I ortlaiul coveted and took from us Prof. Kigler and now another tow 11 in Massa chusetts and another in New Yoik have made I'r-.f. Pringle an offer for Ins service. This was the fourth animal encampment and all present speak highly of the success of the meetliui and of the pleasant time. On Monday even ing at four o'clock the division was called to order by W, K. Johnson and Mayor T, W.
