Annua Day Kxkhcisks. The gradua
ting class of the high school observed
Arbor day last Friday by sotting out two
nut-bearing trees near tho entrance of
the school yard. The ground was pro'
pared by the young men of the class prior

held brief exercise, which were partici

secured a patent on a scheme he has
invented for meeting the desired end.
